Fr. Michael Barry is a missionary working in Tanzania, E. Africa. He was born and raised in Co. Cork, Ireland. Fr. Michael Barry was ordained, June 1964 and moved to Tanzania October of that same year. Fr. Michael Barry has lived among the people working to help improve their lives since. That's 43 Dedicated Years of Service!

Fr. Michael Barry distributes maize during times of famine, helps parents with school fees to educate children and also provides medication for the sick as well as doctor and hospital fees. The requests and need for help by far surpasses his monthly allowance. Without outside donations, very little of this would be possible

"Through Our Hands" was adopted by the Knights of Columbus Council #1802 as their International Charity Project for its great work in Tanzania.
